GI Launches Advisory Board to Reform ICT Training


In May, German Informatics (GI) launched a multi-stakeholder advisory board on ICT training. In Germany, as in other European countries, the shortage of skilled ICT professionals is threatening economic growth. In order to reverse this trend the advisory board will prepare recommendations to reform the German educational system for ICT practitioners. The current system hasn’t changed since it was introduced 16 years ago and needs to be updated to reflect the evolution of the ICT profession. More on GI’s Advisory Board on ICT Training
