ATI Holds Workshop on ICT Competences in Madrid

Current and future demand for ICT professionals are well-known in Europe, so European institutions are promoting frameworks of competences to facilitate the mobility of professionals in the European Union. Following this trend, the European project Appskil, in which ATI, the Spanish Member of CEPIS is a partner, has already obtained practical results in the area of mobile app developers’ skills and competences. To disseminate these results, a workshop entitled "European frameworks of ICT professional competences: experiences and projects" will be held at the University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid on 7 June. Apart from information about the Appskil project, the workshop programme will include topics such as the uses of the European e-Competence Framework in corporate plans of professional development and education in line with employers’ skills demands.
