The European Commission has published a call to submit Forward-Looking Cooperation Projects under the Erasmus+ programme. This call seeks to identify innovative policy approaches in the fields of education, training and youth, and provide input to improve education and training systems. The aim is to test solutions which have the potential to be mainstreamed. This will impact existing education and training systems, support transnational cooperation and mutual learning, and facilitate the collection and analysis of evidence to validate innovative policies and practices.
The submitted proposals must address one of five priorities: the acquisition of basic skills by low-skilled adults, promoting performance-based approaches in VET, promoting innovative technology in the field of providing career guidance, the professionalisation of staff, and achieving the aims of the renewed EU strategy for higher education. Public and private organisations active in the field of education and training are eligible to apply. The project duration should be from 24 to 36 months. The deadline for submission is 14 March 2017.
