Europass Framework to be Revised by the European Commission

European CommissionOn 4 October 2016 the European Commission adopted a proposal to revise the Europass Decision. The aim of the revision is to simplify and modernise the Europass tools for the digital age and to add a new feature that uses big data to anticipate skills requirements and labour market trends. The new Europass Framework will include an improved online tool for creating skills profiles and CVs, free self-assessment tools, tailored information on learning opportunities in Europe, information and support on how to get qualifications recognised as well as information about labour market needs and what skills are needed where. National support centres will also continue to offer advice to help people obtain benefits from this framework.
