Application for European Digital Skills Award 2016 Now Open


computing in schools5The European Commission invites everyone to nominate the best projects, which have encouraged people to develop their digital skills, for the new European Digital Skills Award. The main aim of the award is to celebrate outstanding projects that develop digital skills of Europeans, be it for work, education or life in general. The projects will be judged in four categories: 1) Digital skills for all, 2) Digital skills for the labour force, 3) More and better trained ICT professionals in Europe and 4) Digital skills in education. Projects from all locations and all organisers are welcome. The winners and finalists will be invited to exhibit their project at a conference, and will be featured in the media by the European Commission. The award ceremony will take place on 1 December 2016 in Brussels, Belgium, and will be hosted by the Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Guenther H. Oettinger. Read more and apply
