ENISA Launches a National Cyber Security Strategies e-Learning Platform

enisaOn 15 February 2016 the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) launched the National Cyber Security Strategies (NCSS) e-learning platform. The platform is designed mainly for experts involved in creating or implementing cyber security strategies at national level. A NCSS is a document that outlines concrete steps to be taken to improve cyber security of citizens and infrastructure. It is a top-down approach based on establishing national objectives and priorities for a specific timeframe. Since many key actors are involved in creating a NCSS, it is crucial to facilitate the process of reaching an agreement, foster cooperation and raise awareness on cyber security topics. The platform will provide interactive courses designed to help with the abovementioned actions as well as to provide tools for evaluating cyber security awareness, and offer advice to public bodies responsible for the creation and implementation of the NCSS.
